I bought a jacket from bushbuck.com and ended up trying it out on a few warmer hikes already, i had that immediate “oh wow, this is actually good” reaction. I expected to get kind of sticky and sweaty like I usually do with my old jacket, especially going uphill, but it breathed way better than I thought it would. It still blocked the wind nicely too, which was a bonus. Shipping was totally fine, the sizing felt accurate, and it was comfortable enough to wear for hours. Easy 5 stars from me.

I bought a jacket from Bushbuck it seemed solid at first. It was comfortable and did the job on the first few trips. But after comparing it to a couple of other jackets I’ve owned around the same price, I was a little disappointed to see the stitching starting to look worn so soon. It’s still usable and I’ll keep wearing it, but I did expect it to hold up a bit better for what it cost.

The tracking was kind of annoying too because it barely updated, and I kept checking it like, is it moving or not? Nothing was damaged or anything, which is good. I just wouldn’t call the whole process super reliable. Not awful, just a bit frustrating.

I picked up a Bushbuck jacket for a camping trip, it was really comfy. I hate jackets that make me feel trapped or like I can’t move properly, but this one didn’t have that stiff, bulky feeling at all. I wore it all weekend, stayed warm without getting sweaty, and barely thought about it, which is exactly what I want from a camping jacket.

I like a lot of the gear on Bushbuck, but the stock situation can be hit or miss. A few things I was interested in were either sold out or only available in weird sizes. The site itself is easy enough to use, and I’d probably check back again later, but I do wish they kept more items in stock. Overall, it’s not bad, just kind of average for now.
